We very much enjoyed listening to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide telling about the history and construction of the church. Absolutely recommend booking this stavkirke tour. But plan on spending some time too in the modern fascinating museum and the traditional houses in the grounds. We spent three hours there. Something to inspire the whole family. The canal park is great for children and playful adults.
