Read moreOne of the paths is recently built by sherpas from Nepal; this is basically a staircase all the way up and does not require hiking or terrain shoes (leave your high heels at home though, sneakers are highly recommended). Once at the top you get to enjoy the best panoramic view over Tromsø. The cafeteria sells pretty much garbage at your typical tourist ripoff prices (one waffle is 40 NOK, half liter of coke is 45). I’ll highly recommend that you rather bring along a sandwich bought in the city; ex, Kaffebønna.
