I was recently able to spend a few days in Callaway Gardens and during that time, I made my way into the Butterfly Center.

Although this wasn't my first time in the Butterfly Center, it was my first time in many years, so I enjoyed strolling through slowly on a quiet day. It was just as lovely as I remembered it. The establishment is both clean and well maintained, the staff I met while walking through the center were kind, and the butterflies are, as always, breathtaking.

We had such a good time visiting the Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center. Everyone really enjoyed learning about the butterflies and what all is going on to help educate and preserve the butterflies in that area. Our crew was made up of ages from 80 all the way down to 4 and everyone of learned something new that day! I stopped at the main gate of Calloway Gardens and was able to obtain a pass to enter the Butterfly Center and resort grounds free of charge since it was near closing time. If I would’ve had to pay the regular admittance price to enter I would’ve been mad!

I absolutely love butterflies. This is a beautiful place to visit to just to sit and reflect, but I wouldn’t suggest paying to enter unless maybe going for a special event or a class.
