PDO Planetarium — Attraction in Muscat

Very very poor quality.. I had visited the place when I was a child and it was much better.. we were asked to arrive ten minutes before the booking (the booking that didn’t matter because no one checked our booking code anyway) then we waited and waited and waited for fourteen minutes until we had to actually go and call the person in-charge! It was then agreed to start with the Arabic show then the English one. The show was absolutely chaotic the audio was not matching the video AT ALL!! which was extremely confusing and the whole atmosphere was noisy and incoherent .. we wanted to ask for the English show hoping it would be more decent and informative but the worker would put on the clip and absolutely dessert and leave us inside alone! I am reviewing the place as a whole, I mean the Planetarium & EcOman Centre combined. This place is an excellent museum & exhibition center. Kudos to PDO for this contribution to the nation of Oman. The Planetarium is state of the art. I enjoyed the short film that we watched through a dome screen. It was a new experience for me. It was like watching the sky. The EcOman Centre on the other hand is unique or a few of its kind. It was more than just a display, the facilities are interactive, I mean you can move or play with them.
