I got an Uber there and then walked back over the bridge back towards the city. You really only need a couple minutes there so if you don't wanna walk back ask your Uber driver to wait a couple mins. Mine told me you'd struggle to get an Uber here if you did wanna get one back. If you don't wanna walk back, even just walking around the corner a little (1 minute) you'll see some steps (maybe 12 of them) that'll lead you under the bridge for a unique view (see photo). Be careful steps are mossy / slippery. Mirador de las Americas itself is OK. Not much there, no info. A couple stalls, a cordoned off Chinese gate and pagoda. That's about it. It's all about the view obviously but you don't get much of a view anyway. It's a good place to start your walk back...

From this lookout spot, you have an amazing view of the bridge, canal, ships and cranes. Stay long enough to see ships coming in and out of the canal. Certainly one of the must-see destinations for tourists. It is conveniently located right at one end of the bridge.

There are a few vendors selling souvenirs on the premises. Parking space is usually ample unless there is a special event taking place. At night the view is amazing, though the entire park is dark and in need of lighting.

Been coming here for over 40 years. Proud to see that it has evolved into a memorial to recognize the contributions of the Chinese community in the past 170 years. As a fifth generation Chinese Panamanian, I am grateful...

It was a little bit difficult getting here, especially because there was an accident that closed off the exit that's usually recommended. But it's definitely worth the detour we had to take. The Views were spectacular for night time and the only thing that would have been better is if there wasn't so many insects, but that's to be expected in that type of environment. Definitely an amazing stop and completely free and quiet at night!
