Nice old fort ruins with some great views and rusty canons. Lots of turkey cultures flying above. The site is ruined by the overwhelming smell of sewage.

The ruins aren't huge an hour will be enough time to see the forts, the is a nice view point above the town, opposite the first fortification. Another fortification lies next to the old corn exchange, they are both crumbling away but the cannons are impressive and both forts off the chance for a dip...

Interesting history, but no signs to explain it. It's in much worse shape than the other fort down the road and the view is spoiled by at least 8 wrecked boats in the harbor. It wouldn't take much to make this better, but still worth a quick stop if you are going to the nearby church to see...
