Relatively easy hike with incredible views. There is no cost for this hike. We took a bus from the town to the beginning of the trek (just ask for El Roble). The bus cost 50 cents each. From there you walk along a dirt road for a short while and then follow the very well signed path up towards the cross. It would be almost impossible to get lost. There are two peaks you can get great views from. It’s and absolute 360 degree view from which you can see the pacific ocean and El Valle. The only challenging parts are the short climbs just before you reach each peak where it can be quite slippy as it’s dusty ground but if you take your time it is achievable for almost all. Read moreBeautiful hike, great for sunrise. Very pretty in rain season because the mountain is very green. You can drive up till quite far (if you have 4x4) and from there, it’s a 30 min hike. Take good shoes, can be slippery or muddy in rain season. Take one of the two right paths that circles around to get to the top, don’t take the left one (too steep, dangerously close to the abyss). We took a taxi from Valle de Anton for 6$ and the driver dropped us off directly at the start of the hike. There were 2 street dogs (don't get scared if they run in your direction, they are not dangerous) that we met on the top and one of them was actually guiding us all the way back, it was very cute.
