Playa Venao — Attraction in Veracruz

THIS IS NOT PLAYA VENAO This is Playa Veracruz - Playa Veracruz is great during low tide as you can walk to the island which is completely covered by water during high tide. There are several restaurants here to get a nice drink or fresh seafood. I have never been during high tide so can't recommend for swimming or water activities. But I think would be great for kayak or paddle boarding during high tide. Also there are loads of shells and perfect sand dollars all over. Didn't like it that much for swimming. I just went there because I heard its good for a surf, it was not, but maybe I hit there at a bad time. You can see the ships which coming for the canal and something like a gas or petrol island for ships. That makes me feeling uncertain about the quality of the water. But I am sensitive in this point. And I don't want to say water is bad cause I really don't know. If you stay in the city I recommend to use Uber...

January 31, 2024! I chose this beach after hours of google searches, for the beach and a bath....disappointing...the place is a garbage dump, an abandoned place, terraces that are falling apart, deserted. dirty beach, dark water....you waste your time coming to admire...
