I went to the park around 15:00 on a sunny spring. In general the ambiance was good, people were having a good time with each other. All the plants were blooming and colorful. While exploring, you will encounter some nice photos with description, mainly about the garden in Japan. The souvenir shop is a bit far from the entrance/exit, means if you buy some cute flowers, you have to carry it. I like more the concept of having the souvenir shop nearby the exit. The staff was amazing, in my case, very welcoming and wide beautiful smile. It is a must-visit site, reasonable price with a super-healing experience. I hope in the coming future, there will be some more Japan-related buildings. It is going to be awesome!

We visited for Easter Sunday, and we weren't the only ones planning on going. Parking was hard to find, it took us about 15 minutes. Then the line was incredibly long, if you see a line coming out of the entrance just purchase them online and you'll skip the line entirely (that's what we did). Once in, we went against the crowd and were able to take really nice picture with minimal people in the foreground. Most of the cherry blossoms were gone but some were still in bloom. It's a really beautiful garden that you can get lost in for hours. If you don't like crowds don't go during the holidays, especially in Spring.

We went on a weekday in early may but the garden was busier than I had expected and there was a good 10 minute wait at the ticket office. The parking is a bit strange as you have to go to a public car park on the other side of a road and walk through a tunnel to reach the entrance. The gardens and the plant sales area were very interesting but not at their best when we visited. It’s basically a linear walk up one side of the watercourse and then back the other side; some of the vistas over the lakes are quite spectacular. We did a 200km round trip to visit and judged it worthwhile.

Beautiful gardens to visit for a day out, you can either wander along the lake side or simply sit under the shade of the trees and enjoy the view. It’s a very peaceful and relaxing place which both adults and children can enjoy. There is a little tea shop at the top of the hill where you can enjoy one of the many teas they have on offer or even have a bite to eat. Afterwards you can have a stroll through the gift shop where they have some very old bonsaï trees for sale.

Le Jardin Oriental est un véritable havre de paix où l'harmonie règne en maître. Dès que l'on franchit l'entrée, une sérénité enveloppante nous gagne. Le panorama est splendide, chaque recoin du jardin est pensé pour apaiser l'esprit et émerveiller les sens. Mon fils de 9 ans a été tellement inspiré par la beauté du lieu qu'il a voulu se lancer dans l'entretien d'un bonsaï, que nous avons acheté sur place. La vendeuse, chaleureuse et experte, a su le conseiller avec soin, rendant l'expérience d'autant plus enrichissante pour lui. Le restaurant, bien que légèrement onéreux, propose une cuisine savoureuse qui prolonge agréablement la visite (surtout les plats moins les tartines qui mériteraient d'être plus copieuses). Toutefois, une réduction du prix d'entrée en dehors de la période de printemps serait bienvenue pour rendre ce coin de paradis plus accessible à tous. Une suggestion qui ajouterait à l'expérience serait d'aménager un espace de jeux en extérieur, avec des activités comme le Molky ou le badminton. Cela permettrait de prolonger la magie du parc tout en offrant un moment de détente ludique pour toute la famille.

RMP friendly ! Une deuxième visite de ce très beau parc: accessible aussi aux personnes à mobilité réduite (il y a la possibilité d'accéder à une chaise roulante si besoin, selon disponibilité évidement). Il y a des places de parking pour personnes handicapés juste devant l'entrée. Il y a également des bancs pour les personnes qui ne peuvent pas rester longtemps debout le temps de faire la queue et il y pas mal de bancs tout au long du parcours dans le parc aussi. Il y a également des toilettes à l'intérieur et proches du parc. Ce parc accepte les personnes de tout âges ! Les chiens sont autorisés tant qu'ils sont laisse, que vous ramasser leur commodités et qu'ils ne sont pas trop bruyants. Un plan nous ai fournis au guichet où on achète les tickets même s'il y a aussi des pancartes pour indiquer la route à prendre, pour nous apprendre le nom des arbres et les différentes animations du parc. À apprécier avec un brise d'automne ou même sous le soleil d'un été qui débute ! Il y a pas mal d'ombres pour les personnes sensibles à une trop grande luminosité 😊
