If there is a place that you will remember your entire life if you visit mendoza, Argentina, It will be the Parque General San MArtin, with about 300 hectares of park, Public Building, Mendoza Club de Regatas, El Lago, The Museum Cornelio Moyano of Natural Sciences. Hours walking in the shade of the old and tall trees. The Zoo, The Cerro de la Gloria with the monument in bronze of the freedom statue and San Martin. Spend a whole day here, walk as much as possible. For safety purposes try to do it during the day, nothing valuable visible and try to do it by safe areas. People is so nice here and will be so pleased to help you or give you instruction

El Parque General San Martín en Mendoza es un verdadero tesoro urbano. Mi reciente visita fue simplemente encantadora. Desde el momento en que entré, me sorprendió la belleza y el cuidado de este vasto espacio verde. Los caminos sombreados por árboles centenarios y las extensas áreas de césped invitan a relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Las vistas del lago, con sus tranquilas aguas y elegantes cisnes, son perfectas para un paseo sereno o un picnic en familia. Además, el Rosedal, con su impresionante variedad de flores, es un verdadero deleite para los sentidos. Las instalaciones están muy bien mantenidas y la limpieza del parque es impecable. Hay numerosas opciones para actividades al aire libre, desde senderos para caminar y correr, hasta áreas de juego para niños y espacios para practicar deportes. La estatua del General San Martín, imponente y majestuosa, añade un toque histórico y cultural al parque. También, el anfiteatro ofrece eventos culturales y espectáculos que enriquecen aún más la experiencia. En resumen, el Parque General San Martín es un lugar ideal para desconectar del bullicio de la ciudad y reconectar con la naturaleza. The best place in Mendoza to go for a walk and relax! A vast park offers plenty of space for everybody, those who want yo experience and those who want to relax! Many people use the park for training , while there are many different sports you can do through out all the park and there are those who just take their mate from home and go there to sea the sunset! Romantic spot in any case!

Beautiful park, designed by the French architect and landscaper Carlos Thays. The interesting thing about the park is that it was built to improve the health of the time (epidemics of diphtheria, cholera, and measles) and also the park serves as an alluvial defense. I recommend renting a bicycle to explore it entirely, and enjoy the sunset from near the lake.

Fell in love with this park. The energy. The vibes. People minding their own business. I came here twice to chill. Had a strawberry Frisco and sat on one of the benches facing the fountains. You see families playing. Others doing their sports. Very safe and clean. Walked close to the river as it rained a little bit. Must visit the park if you are in Mendoza.

The park is huge and offers a lot of space for different kind of outdoor activities. It was clean, the different areas were kept in shape and you can find some interesting landmarks. Nice for a stroll and to get some rest after a stressful day. Nevertheless I did not experience it to be very special compared to other parks except of the size.
