Machu Colca is situated at about 3,850 metres of elevation, above the left bank of the Urubamba River, near the village of Raqch'i.

Diese Maya Ruine wurde als ein „Kühlschrank“ genutzt.. hochwandern vom viewpoint dauert vllt 10min und von oben hat man auch eine schöne Aussicht zum Tal! Wenn ihr also könnt, dann nehmt euch ein Mietwagen und erkundet alles selbst und nimmt euch die Zeit!

A beautiful archaeological site with some incredible views of the surrounding landscape. An interesting site due to it's location and function in during the reign of the Incas in the 15th century. Worth a 'pit-stop' as it is adjacent to the main road from Cusco...

Very enjoyable with fabulous views across towards Maras and the snow capped Andes. 3 of us had the entire area to ourselves. Easy access from the parking area, easier to climb from the right...
