Malecon de Chorrillos — Attraction in Lima Metropolitan Area

The view is beautiful BUT you have to watch for pickpockets, never walk out there alone at night, etc. Also, on the weekends the Municipality has allowed tons of street vendors which is really not good for anyone except the vendors. You cannot rely on the cleanliness of the food, you might catch some "wild" bacteria, etc, but if you're the adventurous type, just go ahead. These vendors also block the view of the sea..... not a good idea by...

The best sandy beach you can find in lima peru. But very crowded and full of trash. We went at night whitch we thought would be better for the crowds. But not on a summer night in peru. La vista es muy hermosa. La comida es muy buena y económica. Hay un problema bastante incómodo, los servicios higiénicos no cuentan con agua y por ello son insalubres, pero en Playa Agua Dulce existen baños químicos que al menos están limpios. Al frente del mar, por la costanera está el Parque de Enamorados que a través de varias esculturas cuentan una historia romántica, muy interesante, incluso existe un establecimiento para 500 personas frente al mar y es posible casarse en ese lugar. Sólo se puede llegar en auto particular o de alquiler pero al menos yo regresé hacia Miraflores a pié recorriendo la costanera. Hay paseos en lancha si uno desea, y se practica surff a poca distancia hacia el Norte del Malecón. También para los amantes de pesca amateur tienen posibilidad de tirar sus anzuelos con buenos resultados. Los lugareños son amables, respetuosos, y no observé actos delictuales. La diversidad de terreno entre playas es interesante, algunas playas rocosas y otras de arena blanca y muy fina, hay para todo gusto. No hay que perderse una visita a toda la Costanera, es inolvidable,...
