Montaña Salkantay — Attraction in Mollepata

Amazingly beautiful. We just completed the Salknantay trek without using an agency, and decided to go out on a limb and not bring a tent either. We hoped to be able to find accommodations along the way to make this trek similar to Quilotoa, Colca Canyon or anywhere in Nepal. We did the trek over 5 days and ended up finding a guesthouse on the spot for every night of our trek. We spent lots of time online searching for information on whether this was possible but found nothing.

We spent $142 each for this trek, including all meals, accommodations in private rooms every night, transfer to and from Cusco and Machu Picchu plus Machu Picchu Mountain tickets. The trek is super easy to follow and it would be impossible to get lost. There is no reason to spend $500 on a trekking agency as it is far more fun alone, especially if you do not have to sleep in a tent.

Não fiz a trilha de 5 dias, mas contemplei a montanha do lago e já me apaixonei. A trilha inteira para o lago é só morro e subida, o corpo sente bastante os sintomas da altitude. Preciso ser honesta que foi uma das trilhas mais lindas que já fiz na vida, além de chegar nesse lago cristalino coisa mais linda, pura calmaria.
