La colección es significativa e interesante ya que son opjetos autenticos bien conservados y en algunos casos réplicas del tiempo que expone el museo. La colección es representativa incluso mantiene albergado piesas pre-huspanicas, exponen las historias del crecimiento de Oxapampa.
