It was a “good enough” experience. Food was overall pretty good, prices are adequate, quantity is alright and it all tastes good. Then again, not blown away by anything at all, I would recommend the chorizo with chucrut if you’re looking for some German cuisine or the cecina sandwich if you’re more interested in Peruvian jungle food. I think where the restaurant failed was in the ambiance, they were definitely trying to create an open and relaxed atmosphere, but they didn’t quite succeed in it. The garden is is not very attractive, there are a few hammocks which is nice, however there are some cheeky animals wandering around such as dogs and chickens, the place doesn’t seem well maintained at all, there is dirt on the floor and dust on the walls. Although I didn’t like the environment at all, I’d like to believe it’s just because the town was not in tourist season at the time and it had been raining all day. After speaking to some people they say the best times to visit Pozuzo are between May and November, since those are the months where they get most visits. Finally, a good place for a quick bite an ok place for lunch or dinner.

A wonderful place to enjoy authentic German flavors in the heart of Pozuzo. The dishes are delicious — from the spaetzli, potato salad, and schnitzel to the amazing banana strudel with vanilla ice cream for dessert. On top of the food, they also offer a small spectacle of traditional dances, which makes the experience even more special and cultural. A must-visit to taste and feel a piece of Germany in Peru.

Recomendamos!
