It's my first time to see this rare kind of parish church compared to the usual churches I've visited; I'll probably recommend this to my SDW and HJM brothers and sisters.

Nestled inside the city landscape of Las Piñas is the charming nook that is called Nature Church or Parish of Mary Immaculate Church. This quiet spiritual sanctuary is a sprawling area of natural beauty. Inside, the church grounds are full of tall, shady trees and small stream flowing alongside the San Lorenzo de Manila Chapel. In fact, the church is situated in a half-century old mango orchard, and everything is well preserved. None of the trees were cut down during the construction of the church, and most of the materials used in building it were cast-off construction materials.

The church itself is full of all things inspired by nature. This nipa-hut open-air structure has a high ceiling that is made out of wood, anahaw, and other native materials. The ceiling is peppered with hanging dove décors that are actually lighting fixtures made out of Capiz shells, which add to its charm. The church’s altar is made out of driftwood and marble—both natural materials as well. A big statue of Jesus was put in a prominent position near the altar to complete this place of prayer...

The church's guarded parking lot may be accessed by driving along Marcos Alvarez Avenue, and turning to San Antonio Street opposite the Rainbow Village. If travelling aided by Waze, the app might not direct to this parking space.

The church has distinct roof made of thousands of anahaw leaves. It has no walls. This allows natural breeze to cool the interior of the church. When it rains, churchgoes could experience being sprayed with mist.

The church has unorthodox seats made of tree trunks and occassionally of rocks. There are no hassocks or padded kneelers. It is not unusual that some remain standing during consecration.

At night, the church is lit by hundreds of capiz lanterns shaped like doves.

The last mass on Sunday is celebrated...

Marry Immaculate Parish, also known as the Nature Church, is a truly beautiful and unique place of worship. Nestled in a lush, green environment, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that brings you closer to nature. The open-air structure allows for excellent ventilation, making every visit feel fresh and calming. One of the standout features is the use of natural materials—especially the unique log chairs, which add a rustic and serene charm. Whether you're attending Mass or just visiting, it's a refreshing spiritual escape from the usual concrete churches.

When you enter the church, a cool breeze envelops you, followed by a sense of peace and quiet as the traffic and surrounding city noise fade into the background. This church is where my relatives grew up so this place has a lot of heritage and history and is a returning beacon for those of us who are far away. A very beautiful church and is worth a visit if you're in the area.
