Bantayan Park — Attraction in Bago

I grew up in this city that's why I've witnessed how this park has evolved. The city government of Bago always doing its part to improve and to maintain the park, as this park is just one of the few tourist spots in the city. It is just so sad that I prefer to go to Bacolod for food trip as the food quality in Bantayan park is not good, to be honest, the hygiene and the quality for its price is not reasonable. I won't bring my friends here for food trip, but I am hoping that time will come that the food quality will improve. But when you're looking for beautiful sunsets, wanna have good afternoon walking around together with your friends, or you might walk around your dog (pets), wanna eat some street food (carts), I think you still might...

It was very peaceful, we went on a holiday evening. The park was very well maintained, very clean, they have trash cans located every 50 steps so that helps with the cleanliness, there's a lot of restos across that offers home-cooked style food, police visibility is present, there's also street food on the other side of the park if you want to eat fishball, squid ball, kwek2x. There's also rolling stores that sells Balut and steamed peanuts.

The park is well-lit so not is it only nice but also safer.

It's free for anybody who likes to find a quiet place to enjoy.

The beautiful colors of sunset reflecting on the flowing river is the best feature 👌 🙌 ❤️

Nice place/park with great view where river meets the sea. Great for early morning stroll and exercise with family and friends. Best time of visit is during sunset specially for dating couples. A bit overcrowded during night time though. Well maintained, and have lots of café and resto nearby.

Food from most of the restaurants are a bit pricey but there are other options for those low on budget.

Very accessible and convenient to visit since it's just within the city proper. One thing I noticed that this place needs to have is a playground for children. Parking is a bit of a problem too during night time.
