This is the jump off point for the hike to Mount Pulag via the Ambangeg Trail. I'm a little conflicted about the current state of the trail. I'm glad that more people are aware and appreciative of this place. Also, it is a source of income for the locals who otherwise would've cleared the land for planting crops. However, in my opinion, the tourism aspect needs more regulation. During peak days, as many as 500 people gain access to the peak. This, of course, entails much disturbance in the flora and fauna at the peak and along the trails. I guess the current status is a happy medium until a more sustainable option...
Read moreAt night when the sky is clear, the vast view of the stars is epic. Makes you want to capture the beauty of the night. Though you need some thick clothes to resist the sheer cold coming from the great Mt. Pulag.
The people here enjoys the cold and the fresh vegetables they farm here.
