A Nice Place To Visit
It was an accidental detour when we went towards Loboc instead of going to Jardin Necitas from Chocolate Hills. It was very eye-catching because of the place's exterior which looks like a ship. The entrance fee is 50/head with a tour around the area. We were lucky that we were the only visitors at that time so we had the place for ourselves. The tour guide is very helpful and jolly. She would tour, give some stories and take pictures of us in the entire area. Oh, there's a free juice/coffee for your entrance fee. I'd suggest to give your tour guide a tip if you found him/her helpful.
This place also accommodates guests for overnight stays. If your plans only include the Chocolate Hills and around Loboc, I would highly suggest this place (if your going to the Port of Tubigon, it's nearer from here to Tubigon Port).
As usual, when we go to a tourist attraction, we always look for availability of food, clean comfort room and good parking area. Food = ✓, Comfort Room = ✓,...
Read moreThe house was opened in late 2011 to local and foreign tourists to showcase the culture of Batuan. One can see the local weavers at work and buy their wares at the souvenir shop.
Inside the ShipHaus you will find captain’s cabin, chiefmate’s cabin, kitchen, mess hall and others. The workers are all dressed in sailor's uniform. There is a roof deck that resembles the front of the ship from which you can imagine looking into the endless ocean while taking some refreshments.
ShipHaus became prominent when it was featured in a favourite TV show. Local tourist guides and travel and tour agencies will be glad to bring you to Shiphaus. It takes around 2 hours travel time to Batuan from the city of Tagbilaran. If you want to go own your own, go to the integrated bus terminal in Dao and catch a bus going to Carmen. Look to your right upon entering the town of Batuan, Bohol. Meters away from the church you will see...
Read moreI've been to bohol many times., it was my first to visit the ship house just this year., my brother in law is a sea farer, he was the one who recommended the place, it was fun specially being with your family. It's like a museum or somewhat a simple reflection of a ship. You will pay P 100/each entrance fee and P 50 for children (not really sure if that's the exact amount) .I find it expensive though for an entrance fee🤭.Plus they will take a picture of you and with your family, later on you'll be surprise, the picture will be made into a key chain and magnet with your face on it. But it's not for free, you'll have to pay for it to get it😁, P 150 for the magnet and P 100 for key chain 🤣., there are plenty of souvenir items for sale., all about bohol and sea related items.. If you will visit bohol for a tour, you can add it to your list for a fun experience and photo shoots🥰..just prepare money...
