Maravillosa Public Beach Resort — Attraction in Cebu

Affordable piblic beach where u coild enjoy beautiful white sand and ocean breeze.. The ocean was mostly sand with areas of sea grass... But even with that, if you look closely, there are many diverse aquatic animals you can snorkle.. Cute colorful fishies.. Evensaww puffer fishes and (we think) a seahorse! The community there was active everybody had a role for tourists and visitors to be organized.. Even the barangay catain was there totsee things in order! He even helped us take a family photo! Kudos capt and thank u!

But let me just point out that even proactive people, dirty tourists always exist.. Probably their houses are messy reflecting their personality to just loiter around.. It isn't hard to gather your personal trash in place all in a plastic or paper bag.. You can even ask the community, and they provide you with trash sacs! Very Beautiful beach, but trash around.. On the sand and floating on the beach.. :( what i suggest is placing strategically trash bins with plenty of signages so that people wont miss them.. Maybe make colorful signages and catchy phrases about the environment to get attention.. Please no more environmental fee increase.. ✌ and also wish that there is no fee when changing clothes only.. Hehe

Above all, i always keep coming back here even years ago..I really love this place.. I just hope they don't always hike up prices like entrance fee and...

Price 5/5: public beach is free! lots of resort around, crowded especially on weekends. we rented a bungalow house for 5k full flies inside the house its very stressful.

hygiene 1/5: flies every where! im wondering where they are coming from our rented van told us that theres a poultry farm near the maravilla beaches. i wont go back in this beach for this reason if local authorities can do something about this this beach would get more tourist for sure.

The experience is close to paradise especially if you're with friends and family. The public beach provides a relaxing escape from the city life with its pristine sand and water where you won't have to worry about stepping on sharp stones or any object that could injure you. Its fine sand, most notably, is an awesome playground for those who like to frolic in a white sand beach. A warning for those looking to visit the place and stay here overnight, don't be deceived by a certain Benecio Berja who charges his accommodation at an unreasonable price. His rooms are nothing different from a shanty and the water supply is terrible. Inquire at their tourism office to get the best...
