We had an overnight stay with my friends, for almost 2 day and 1 night stay, here are my reviews Environment: This is a good place to stay either day or overnight use. The beach is infront of you so you can enjoy and watch the waves washing off the sand along the bay. Too bad for us that the highest water level is just 2-3 meters. It was a rough weather though we expect that 10-15 meters from the shore is at the neck level to us but it was not. But probably you can enjoy the white sand and clear blue water of Maravilla beach. We walked through the shoreline of Maravilla and we enjoyed the place! Though there are still garbages and dried kelps around, but they say (they) don't need to sweep those (kelps) because it's a private property. Those garbages, ugh humans! Services They have parking space, if you have asked. They have a convenience store too! I forgot to ask for the rent of those cottage headbang though we paid for the place for installing our own tent for 150 PhP/tent and a separate payment for the toilet use. It was 10-15 PhP, depends on the usage (urination or whatsoever) but 'unli-use' is about 30 PhP/per head.
Here is the thing, the fact that we are on our tent, we planned to cook (grill) on their grilling station (we had a chance to buy some fish from the market for the lunch and dinner) but (please tell me if I'm wrong)it was said that have to pay again of the said station. So to play safe, a relative of my barkada which was living near there cooked for us instead.
Catch those fishermen by night and early morning to see those fresh caught fish, and buy them at a lower price✔️
Also, at night they do have lights on the site so you can see there are no intruders lurking in the tent whenever you are enjoying at the beach. BUT there was a time at night where there are lots of mosquitoes who'll take a bite on you, we planned to have a BONFIRE but it was a big FAILURE when were informed that it's PROHIBITED to create one. If only they can have an action for it even just a light smoke to keep away those insects BUT it was gone by around 8:00-9:00 pm (2000-2100H). Overall it was a great experience and adventure in the...
Read moreI have no complains on the beach and the very helpful staff. My main complain is on the accommodation. The beds are fine but for 3,500 I expect to have a functional bathroom. The bathroom door is about to fall apart, the toilets don't have toilet seat covers, which makes it impossible for toddlers to use the toilets and the very upsetting part is that you can't even flush the toilet using the flush button because if you do, you will smell the nastiest smell in your life. The bathroom is right across the bed so it makes it so hard to sleep with a foul smell and the pee smell is so strong, I didn't even dare take a shower for 3 days while there. I brought my entire family and occupied their 3 rooms right next to the beach and all bathrooms are not working. We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days and the moment we arrived and I smell that nasty odor, I know I would not enjoy my stay. I feel it was a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this...
Read moreGetting to Maravilla Tabuelan is pretty tough, and not being able to find a place to stay is tougher. Good we've come across Ate Luz from 3M's.
The place is very cozy and we immediately feel at home. Having just the cottage at 1500php for a night gives the basic comfort. But having the videoke for 1500php adds up the hype.
The gazeebos are lined up neatly on one side of the area along their multi-purpose canteen that caters rentals of tents to snorkels and bed mats while the other side of the fenced property has ample space for tents, which you can rent for 350php from Ate Luz and her staff. By the way, you can also either ask Ate Luz to cook for you or cook on your own with their utensils, and they charge for only very friendly costs.
The people here with Ate Luz are so warm and always makes sure you have all you need. I'd definitely come back here and enjoy another view of the sunset at...
