Pre-Covid Photos (Feb 2020)
As a certified “plantita”, my mother requested to go to this place and as her daughter I couldn’t say no. (How could you say no to your own mother?) haha. Regardless of my mother’s request I’d still want to try this place because of its overlooking view and of course the flowers. My review today is based on my actual experience 2 years ago. At first sight, I remembered my experience at Sirao Garden (you’re probably familiar with this place, if you had been to Cebu). This place gave me the same “feels” when I went to Sirao but Viewdeck is bigger, has better art landscapes, cottages and parking area inside. The flowers are undeniably beautiful, attractive and it’s good for relaxation even if you’re just merely looking at them. The beauty from the flowers and calmness from the mountains and trees really matched with the weather, it was sunny but cold that day.
As far as I can remember, they sell hot drinks, no corkage and entrance fees. The only thing that you should pay is for the cottage. Minor concern that I had that time was their pathway, it wasn’t cemented and the ground was muddy that time because of the rain. But I am pretty sure that minor to major improvements have been made in Viewdeck. So, I am looking forward to visit this place again. Overall, we enjoyed our...
Read moreI gave this place a 3 stars first because the place is nice and cool. With the beautiful view of Mt. Balatukan. They have this floral arrangement. The only issue i noticed is that the trip to Claveria viewdeck from Cdo will took u almost 1 hour and 30 mins if there is traffic especially in gusa and cugman road plus traffic in puerto and tagoloan. If without traffic around 45mins maybe and they only serve snacks and beverages. If i may suggest atleast serve ready to eat food for the guests. They have this beautiful place and view yet ur stomach is crumbling because they only have sikwati or fruit juices. Yes i get it, you have to bring ur own but another problem is the dinning area capacity is only small and if you want the kubo type cottage it will cost you much... i think the cheapest is P500 if im not mistaken. But other than that it would be nice if you will be serving maybe breakfast typical tapsilog, cornsilog, longsilog etc. For lunch maybe ready to eat food veges would be nice since its abundant in the place. Plus their own production of local coffee. Please... maybe that time ill give 5 stars! Overall its still...
Read moreDespite a very sunny day, the scene is a fresh view especially if you came from the busy and (dusty) city roads. What makes it more attracting are the kind and genuine smiles of the people who works there. like those ladies in the cafeteria. Plus, the foods and the gift shop items were cheap and pocket-friendly. All in all, its a good thing we have this place to witness how vast and awesome our world is. Not to mention the sceneries we crossed along the way. IT IS...
