The Lusong Gunboat is a Japanese WWII shipwreck that lies at a depth of about 14 meters, making it accessible to both beginner and experienced divers. The wreck is relatively intact, and divers can explore the remains of the ship, including its gun turrets and engine room, which provide a glimpse into its wartime history.

Diving at the Lusong Gunboat Wreck is a memorable experience, combining history, marine life, and underwater exploration. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced diver, the wreck offers an exciting dive that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Overall, the Lusong Gunboat Wreck is a must-visit dive site in Coron, Palawan, offering a unique opportunity to explore a WWII shipwreck and experience the beauty of the...

Lusong gunboat shipwreck site has a japanese supply ship that was sunk by bombing from aircraft during WWII. The ship lies on the upper side of the underwater slope. So part of the ships are within 10 metre depth. It is a popular place for snorkelling due to variety of fishes seen, due to ship wreck that can be accessed through snorkelling and free dive. Scuba divers can go deeper in the site into the ship and explore. The site has to be reached by a boat ride. The rate cards for various charges are fixed and hence easy to identify a boat and hire. Lusong Shipwreck, Lusong Coral garden and Turtle park canbe covered in a...

Maybe 90mins from coron town on one of the tours but amazing corals and the tip of the ship wreck is maybe 1 meter from the surface. Definitely recommend going there. The tour guide and tourists we went with stood on the coral though even despite me telling them that it damages the corals. Hopefully they will make this reef protected as they have with...

Save for your trip ✨️ & how to save the reef 🙏👇 Please care for the water, it's essential we wear reef safe sunblock when going in. (Take our trash home with us too) I recommend using @wearefeelgoodinc sunblock Too expensive? It's the small price we pay to protect these beautiful places. 🤝🏝🙏 Chemical synthetic sunblocks damage delicate reef ecosystems and slowly kills them. Think of what it is doing to your system too if you use it... 😬 Heres our Palawan bucket list for your travel planning ✈️ Coron: Barracuda Lake Kayangan Lake Twin Lagoon Skeleton Wreck El Nido: Big Lagoon Snake Island Entalula Island Shimizu Island Hidden Beach Secret lagoon Also, a three day Keelooma cruise to see the secret spots 👌 While in El Nido do the Tawar Cliff Canopy walk too. 🫶 Consider going to Balabac for the starfish 👌, or Puerto Princesa for the underground river cave. The tours in El Nido/Coron come in A, B, C etc, however we recommend organising (paying a little extra) for a private tour. Otherwise, you won't necessarily see the places you want! Would you visit the Philippines? 🏝💛 . . . #itsmorefuninthephilippines #filipinas🇵🇭 #travelphilippines #palawanphilippines #palawan
