Bagasbas Beach — Attraction in Daet

one of the cleanest beach in the Philippines with white sand and a nice view of china sea and pacific ocean. although The sand is not as white as other beaches but the waves are great. Perfect for surfing beginners. Very spectacular when seeing how far this beach goes on and on. The first thing you will notice once you stepped out of your car is the wave. You will immediately have the urge to jump in the waters. Fine dark sand at a long shoreline feels good under your feet, simply walking along the water line is relaxing enough. If you want to let the wind blow your worries from your mind, this is the place to your worries down. The beach is known for its waves for surfing. Normally, waves are manageable for beginners. Also, the sand (both in the shore and in the water) are super super fine. It is pleasant to walk up and down this beach. There are no stones to hurt your feet. We were warned that the depths of the waters can vary which can be dangerous. You don't want to drown because you think that you are in shallow waters. This is a wavy beach and absolutely good for the surfers, but for the swimmers just stay in the shallow area for safety purposes or better sit back lay on the sand while sun bathing. There a few shops for the surfers, few restaurants and bar on the beach sides. Nice place to relax and just enjoy the beach. Bagasbas Beach is definitely for surfers. Grey sand, rolling waves, windy n accessible. 15 mins.trike ride fr Daet Public Market, 24/7, 10 php/pax.. Happy hours, acoustics nites during weekends accdg.to locals. Fined sand.. Relaxed.. Family oriented for picnics or just emjoy yourself on a sunrise.. Good for jogging.. Sand sports like volleyball.. Has zumba every sunday morning.. Weekend getaway.. Rate of 5 bcoz its really enjoyable but then it needs a little more tourist getaway for itdoesn't have much places to stay inn like hotels and resort and activities like surfing..boogie boarding etc,.... Coz nobody offers it or have business for renting equipment for those kinds of activities.. It would be more tourist getaway if they would have those what i mentioned.. Especially ofcourse boatriding, water ski, divimg, etc,... Family getaway it is not tourst spot for if it is i would really recomend it for it is really a nice beach to go to.. It just not really constructed place for tourist for it only has 1 hotel and resort that is rhe lighthouse hotel and resort ehich is a vey nice place to check in also... Maybe few tourist willl be fine just to enjoy a beachwalk nor enjoy it for a day swimmming.. Clean enviroment bit needs more taking care of everyday to keep...

Near by beach for morning walks of Daeteneos. Clean beach and good waves for begginer surfing. Tons of restaurants to choose from. The place is also friendly to low budget chill with free access to the beach and the countries longest boulivard. Just avoid going to the beach during holdays due to over crowding. Clean beach for good long walks and camping. Be extra cautious thou when swimming or crossing river side, since water flow tends to be strong on those areas.

Fishing is also one of the attraction of bagasbas beach. Recommended spot is by the bridge going to talisay.

New developments is brewing and probably new attraction will be develop in the future. One unique expirence I had was the banana boat ride near the port. Riding the big waves is thrilling and scary at the same time. During high winds season, tourist usually tries parashute surfing. Truly an amazing sight to see.

Currently it might not be the best beach in the Philippines, but my home town beach is a relaxing gateway during the weekends and remicing...
