Payong-Payong Beach — Attraction in El Nido

Even though I came at a bad time it was still a great experience. I must admit however that if you're looking for quiet and peace, this won't be something you're going to like. El Nido has become very touristy and as such you will be with LOTS of people on the tours. I'd recommend going on tour A or C but make sure to ask what is included in your tour! Obviously you'd want to go to a tour that provides all the equipment like water shoes, snorkels and lifejackets(mandatory).

Payong is the local term for umbrella, and with some imagination, you'll see that the limestone forms said shape. The place with its aquamarine waters is ideal for snorkeling.
