Magikland Philippines is a theme park in the Negros Occidental region of the Philippines. It Is located in the city of Silay. The park opened, in September 2019 and is open all year round. Magikland is owned by Aton Land and Leisure Corporation. The park’s slogans are "Live the Dream, and Feel the Magic". As of 2019 attendance was at least 72,000 people. The park covers 12 acres or 5 hectares. Though it is small by British and American standards, it is a great start and there is room to grow. In comparison, Seaworld San Antonio is 102 hectares & Six Flags Fiesta Texas is 89 hectares. Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is a whopping 10117 hectares! That said, Magikland is the first theme park on the island of Negros. The themes of Magikland are based on local folklore and local legends. The Magikland team adapted the legend of the Ba-kuna-wa, a moon-eating dragon. In addition to the the moon-eating dragon, there are four additional characters paying homage to the local landscapes and history. They are: Boy Bakunawa, Mara Marapara, Pat Patag, and Kit Kanlaon.
Boy Bakunawa, The Bakunawa is a serpent-like dragon in Philippine mythology. It is believed to be the cause of eclipses, earthquakes, rains, and wind.
Mara Marapara, Mara is the mother of the land. She’s the one that nourishes. “Her strengths lie in care and empathy and is connected to the forest.
Kit Kanlaon as in Mount Kanlaon: The goddess that lives in the Mountian. However, due to mankind's dreadful attitude towards the environment, she closed the divine portals which were the entrances of the volcano.
There are three zones in the park. Cultural zone, Magical zone, and mystical zone. CULTURAL ZONE: Is a journey back in time and see Silay’s Heritage. MAGICAL ZONE: Is a small child-friendly area with basic low-intensity rides. MYSTICAL ZONE: This is the best zone for thrill seekers.
We tried to visit Magikland, only to find confusing operating hours.
The Philippines have strange internet procedures.
Due to this and COVID restrictions, we could not easily lock down the park hours. Simply put, the Philippine internet system is horrible. Every three days you have to pay to renew your cell phone and Wi-Fi connectivity, and that becomes expensive. Another problem is most Philippine companies use Facebook as their primary source to message customers. In the States, companies use .com as their primary messaging source. If I get many requests, I’ll make a...
Read more3 stars cause during our visit, some staff seem to have no gana in working haha. Especially the ladies, they seem to not wanna brief you well (both cashier and some operators). When answering queries, it felt like they are forced. It’s good cos the entrance fee isn’t very expensive but I don’t think it is right for them to just let us read the terms or something for the unli rides and no rides tickets, they won’t brief you more about it, i mean, not everyone wants to read or have that comprehension in one reading eh? And what if the line is long? You’d just go along with it even when you didn’t understand their “rules”.
The kids in most rides has to have a companion so if your kid is getting an unli ticket, an adult must also get one. If you’ll only upgrade once you’re inside, the additional fee is much more expensive.
The area is actually not that big, it woyld be great to try all the rides to make the most of your cash. Outside foods aren’t allowed so you can only buy foods from their snack bar, siomai doesn’t taste good + considering how expensive a set is, not worth the try. Better to just buy potato corner or churros or the nacho, they taste really good...

With a 15 minutes drive from the Airport through the new circumferential route. (you can contact me if you want to book a ride from the airport)
Currently, they are on their soft opening phase so you might have to set your expectations to it. The entrance fee has 2 options: First, is the Php 280 inclusive of entrance fee, variety show and one free ride of your choice and the other is the 520 inclusive of entrance fee, variety show and RIDE ALL YOU CAN EXPERIENCE (you just got to prepare your stomache if you have seasickness 😂😫😖, as what I have with the so called TOWER, lol).
Considering that they are on a soft opening stage, museums and exhibit areas are yet to open. Good thing also is that they have various food stalls just incase you get hungry inside. Good and accomodating staffs are there to greet you. Also a lot of promotions might surprise you.
I gave it a 4🌟 as they are still yet to figure out more attractions to encourage more customers. Good one...
