The best last-minute decision change I've made so far! Just came back from our trip (July 07, 2023) and a little precaution, this place is for the adventurous. Be prepared to climb as the road might be paved, it is steep. Just treat it as nice warm-up before dipping into the waters🥰. We arrived at 6 in the morning and had the beach to ourselves. Paid the entrance fee at Php60 per person and a daytime cottage at Php300. No corkage for anything you bring, may it be food or drinks. For cooking, they have grills positioned by the rocks beside the cottages, we brought our own firewood. The cottages are limited and cannot be reserved in advance, however they offer tents for rent at Php300 per night, you can also bring your own. Facility-wise, you only have a lone solar-powered light in the cottage and that's about it, we only stayed for the day so I advise bringing your own beddings if you plan to stay the night. Capacious toilets might be lacking of commodities but is sure does not lack of cleanliness. Fresh water comes from a deep well which is accessed via the manual water pump.
Now as for the beach, it is magical! It made the steep hike worth it and arriving early means you get to see the sunrise against the crystal waters and the jaw-droppingly greenery-claimed rock formations. Because it's surrounded by rocks, the waters maintained its glasslike appearance, no matter how much you wade into it—just watch out for the rocks, as it can be slippery or sharp at times. Marine life can swim by under the carved out boulders, you might be greeted by a crab or two. Changing of tides doesn't affect the beach, I'd encountered the cycle from morning to its late afternoon and the highest of its rise is at noon time.
Although if you don't want a swim, just sit by the flowers and feel the sand on your feet. The place is secluded as it is mostly visited by locals, the weekends seeing the most traffic. It's far off most residences and establishments so laze out in the background of birdsong and...
Read moreGreat place for a day tour with a friend.
We planned a day tour in Guimaras with my friend. From Ortiz wharf we ride a pump boat to reach Jordan wharf then rented a motorcycle to reach Tatlong Pulo. When you reach the area please be prepared for a long walk because the motorcycle will reach it’s limit. Finally we arrived in the beach after a long walk... and it happened that we’re the only customer in the beach. We are so lucky. 😊
After a few hours our camera runs out of battery so I recommend to bring an extra battery or power banks with you. There is no electricity in the beach and you need to find a nearby houses to be able to charge and it will also take a long walk.
After charging we did enjoy taking photos and playing in the beach. We didn’t buy any foods since we have packed some foods from the city but the caretaker can cook foods if you want and there is an available sari-sari store but it would be good to bring your own foods.
Time to to go home and well it’s not that difficult since the motorcycle is waiting for us. We rented the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver is very accommodating and very helpful...
Read moreMy family and I celebrated my birthday at Tatlong Pulo Beach, and it was the perfect spot for the occasion. If you're looking for an affordable, quiet place to relax with family and friends while escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, Tatlong Pulo is a must-visit when you're in Guimaras.
The water is crystal clear, and the beachfront is well-maintained. They offer cottages for rent at a reasonable price, which made our stay even more comfortable. Plus, if you need Wi-Fi for those Instagram snaps, they have a Wi-Fi vendo machine on site. However, I’d recommend setting aside your phone and soaking in the natural beauty of the place.
Overall, it's a peaceful escape, and I’d give it a...
