The place is mostly filled with locals. We went there on a weekend so it is mostly packed. We rented a fan cottage which is an upper open space mostly built by wood. It feels like a loft type kind of cottage where the lower level is a dining area.
There are tents also available for rent at the place but I recommend to bring your own matting/insulation. The tents are 300/night and the camping area is right in the strip which is very limited, depending on the tide of your visit.
Speaking of tides, in the morning, the water sets back a couple of meters so you can explore the left side of the resort where a coral-bar ("sandbar") will emerge for a few hours after sunrise. If you went on a good weather, the island that is in front of you will glow for a few minutes during sunrise when the sun's rays lights it up. It's magical when you get that picture perfect shot.
To get here though, you can choose between single motorcycle where 2 can fit depend on their body built or a tricycle. Please be warned that the road in front of the resort is like a WALL, IT IS STEEP so if you plan to drive your way here, be prepared that if your car is not a 4-wheel drive, it will struggle.
There are limited barbecue units, if you plan to have your food cooked at the resort, I would suggest to bring your own barbecue set-up so you won't have to wait to have one be available when all are used by other guests.
Charcoals, paper plates, plastic cups and other camping and eating materials are available on their mini market at the resort. Drinks, ice, alcohols are also available. The Main Reception/Kitchen area serves Pancit Canton, noodles and coffee in the morning, just ask for assistance there, they wake-up very early in the morning.
The staff are very accommodating, whatever you need, just ask at the reception/kitchen area and they will have them ready for you. Just make sure to return the borrowed items right after you're finished with them so other guests can borrow as well.

Read moreFriends and I went there for a weekend. For such mediocre and not so well kept place, it was expensive. You have to pay for everything from hot water to cold water to the Php10.00-ice. Not that I'm complaining about the prices. Paying is ok as long as it's worth it. The place has swarms of mosquitoes. The room is not kept clean. There were cats everywhere (two of them ate the food we were supposed to have for dinner, and yes, we sealed it in a container). The service is also bad. Whenever you buy something, it would take them more than 15mins to get back to you with whatever it is you bought. sometimes theyd even give u the wrong item (ex. we asked them to cook pancit canton, we were given lucky me noodles. When we told them about the mistake, the lady just told us to have the noodles because it's already cooked). All in all, it was a bad experience. I will...
Read moreYears ago this place used to be difficult to go to (its now easier). The hike to this secluded beach is steep (it still is) and jaggedly rocky (the road is paved now). It was serene, virgin-like even, quiet and personal. The water is clear and the people, local fishermen, are friendly and offer inexpensive accomodation and food. Today, development is prominent in the area. The local huts lining the beach is now replaced by resort owners claiming their piece of the area. It' still beautiful but it was much beautiful back then. There's an entrance fee to pay, 50-150php. There's a local restobar in the resort that I'd imagine would be pricey so bring foods if you're in a budget. I suggest you to be there early at most 9am. While the sun is not that hot and the water is the clearest. You will find yourself alone at this time on the beach and...
