Valley of Colors: A Burst of Creativity in Baguio

Located in Barangay Balili near Baguio City, Valley of Colors is a vibrant and massive artwork consisting of hillside homes painted in bold, rainbow colors. Created by local artists with the help of over 500 volunteers, this community artwork covers a vast area and offers a unique display of unity through colorful painted houses on a steep hill.

My visit to the Valley of Colors in La Trinidad was a real treat for the eyes. I was absolutely amazed by the sight of all the vibrant houses painted in a beautiful mosaic of different colors. The entire hillside is a color frenzy that you won't get to see everyday. I loved the unique and eccentric architecture of the homes, which all came together to form one giant, living art installation. Seeing this for the first time is such a bizarre experience. It is just one jeepney away from Baguio City, as every jeep that will go to La Trinidad will surely pass this area. Another cool part of the experience was crossing the hanging bridge, which connects the colorful community to the main road. It's a great spot for taking photos and getting a wider view of the painted houses. It's important to remember that the Valley of Colors is a real, active community with people living there. It's not just a tourist attraction. We should always be mindful and respectful of the residents and their homes as we enjoy the view and take pictures. Don't leave any trash behind. The vibrant beauty of the place is made even better by the community that...

Colors of StoBoSa or StoBoSa Hillside Homes Artwork is located in Tam-Awan Village in La Trinidad, Benguet. It is a bright paintwork of the houses that make it a work of art.

Hungry for many pictures that we can get, we requested our cab driver to stop over and snap photos of us even though the office handling the area is already closed just like the Bell Tower that we hit before this - closed. But in here though, the place can't be closed even if it is because anyone can just shoot a picture anytime. It's beside the highway. No rules for us.

We really are a photo enthusiast. You see, it was raining and it was already late in the afternoon when we get here but we managed to get what we want. Thanks to the cab driver who patiently did each of our requests and drove us wherever we wanted to amid the weather.

So what's my rate for this?

Perfect to those who diligently worked on the project.

The view is good but I do not recommend you coming here for photo ops. It's beside the busy highway, and the bridge that connects the houses from the highway has residents that you could be disturbing while you take...
