Located in Plaza Naning at the heart of Baliwag town proper. It is commonly known as the Baliwag Church.

A picturesque Baroque style of architecture which will transport you to the towns historic past.

Aside from it's astonishing interior, It is popular because of the massive tower, a wide parking area with the statue of the Blessed Mary or the Alter of the Immaculate Concepcion at the center, and the huge relief of Moses at the lower portion.

The Parish convent refectory and Galeria San Agustin - the church souvenir shop are among the added attractions.

At the side of the church is an adjacent building with the same architechtural style that houses the infamous St. Augustine Charity clinic, where town folks and even those who just visited tje town are welcomed to have their free medical consultations (they also provide free medicines and vitamins).

Across is the glorietta which serves as a mini park for those who wants to relax and also serves as a mini plaza for cultural and especial events.

After attending the mass or simply visiting the church during weekdays, the mini food bazzar at the side is a haven for those who are craving for a budget friendly "tusok - tusok" or the local delicacies such as the bibingka and salabat. You can choose to cross both side of the street for the lines of fast food chaims and milk tea shops if you want a more.comfortable...

I first visited the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Augustine in August 2022 and was immediately captivated by the statue outside—it gives a solemn yet welcoming presence, as if inviting you into its history and sacred grounds. The Baroque-inspired façade, with its elegant stonework and detailing, makes it stand out even from a distance.

On my recent visit, I was able to take more time exploring and even capture full photos of both the interior and exterior. The timing was perfect since there were only a few people inside, which allowed me to roam peacefully and reflect. I also appreciated learning more about the relics housed here—adding even more depth to the church’s spiritual and historical significance.

This church is known for hosting the longest Holy Week procession in the Philippines, a living testament to the enduring Catholic faith of the community. Whether for prayer, reflection, or simply admiring its beauty, this place leaves a lasting impression. And yes, that statue outside still stays with...

I visited this beautiful church way back in August 2022, and what immediately captivated me was the statue outside the church. It gives a solemn yet inviting presence — almost like it's gently welcoming you into its history and sacred grounds.

The facade has that classic Baroque influence, giving it both elegance and strength. The stonework and the detailing make it a standout, even from afar. Inside, you’ll find a grand interior that mirrors the dignity of its exterior, with touches that remind you of the deep-rooted faith of the town.

This church is also known for the longest Holy Week procession in the Philippines, a testament to how deeply embedded Catholic traditions are in the local community.

It’s a peaceful place to visit, reflect, and admire. And yes — that statue outside really stays in...

Have you heard of the longest procession? You are welcome to join us on 'Holy Wednesday' and 'Good Friday' throughout Holy Week. Better to attend earlier than the start time to prepare your chairs and cars, and find a suitable location to watcha great display featuring human figures and statues commemorating the life of Jesus Christ. This procession includes 118 statues, gaining it the title of longest procession. However, what bothers me after the event is seeing rubbish on the streets as we return home. I hope that all Baliwagenyos and other tourists will never, ever contribute to pollution. Let us all care for our environment totally, just as Jesus Christ took away our sins and cleansed our hearts.
