My review is of Cabongaoan Beach resort being posted in FB. Beware that though the place is nice, simple rooms, simple toilet and bath, with own garage and fenced beach front area, the aircons in the rooms are not functioning well. It was so hot because the ACs on the 3 rooms keep on shutting down. What is worst is that when dusk came, all other resorts have electricity except this resort. No lights,no fan, no ac. It was pitch dark and all the caretakers could tell us is that the power supply in the area is not stable. It would have been understandable if they told us prior to booking. They even have the nerve to charge an ac rate for the rooms when it wasnt even working at all. We had to leave at past 7pm to look for another place because we have kids with us who will never be able to sleep without ac or atleast a fan. It was summer that time and you could imagine the heat specially with such a small room with very poor ventilation. Sayang, this could have been the perfect place for our summer outing kaya lang palpak yung kuryente. Sabihan pa kme na yung iba daw na guests nagtitiis naman kami lang ang maarte. So it means alam tlga nila na walang saysay ang aircons pero they keep on posting na aircon yun room. Kung ganun din lang pla sana fan room na lang hinanap namin ang dami sa paligid...
Read morelove it.. superb! as a paradise lover... i recommend this beach, although there's not a lot to do while you are there, just at least enjoy the peaceful scenery beach while you are far from the city. oh.. been to this place twice with the family. great for kids also. not expensive at all. the beach is nice.. there are areas where there are stones but there are also areas where you can just feel the pure sand on your feet under their crystal clean water. enjoyed the road in the morning where i have to drive from the beach resort to the wet market for about 35-40 mins to buy some meats and vegetables to cook for our 3 days 2 nights stay in there. we asked the staff if we can use their fridge for our uncooked meat. in the market of burgos, you can buy their freshly catch flying fish, other types of fish, live small to big crabs, different types of seaweeds, different types of squids, octopus etc.
there are few resorts in Cabaoangan beach, where you can stroll and canvas for the budget you prefer. we stayed at ROVEN'S PLACE. kuya Willy (the owner) was very nice to us. they offer cottages with fan and houses with bedrooms and AC. definitely will come back...
Read moreBurgos, Pangasinan is very far from Manila and also far from town proper of Pangasinan. It will take you 6 to 7 hrs land travel from Manila. Our group stay in Roven's place resort, one of the recommended resort in the internet by travelers. The resort have four good comfort room "pwede sa maarte" and deep well. The local store offer prepaid wifi, they have basic supplies but we recommend that you bring your own food like the resort owner's advise. The sea water is good but not as good as Palawan or Siquijor. One of the main attraction is the death pool that require 20-30mins walk from Roven's place but this deathpool only appear...
