Plaridel Church or Quingua Church was established in 1581, that's more than four centuries ago and it is one of the oldest Hispanic churches in Bulacan. Its structure is a barn-style Baroque with Moorish ornamentation. During the British occupation (1762-1763), this church was the place where the money and jewels of San Agustin, in Intramuros, Manila, were kept. There is an octagonal chapel locally called the Simborio chapel surrounded by artistic windows. The people in this area, with the help of the local government, are preserving it's historical value. Also, "Pintakasi ng mga Caballero" or a fiesta for the horse lovers are celebrated in Plaridel, Bulacan.

St. James the Apostle Parish Church, located in Poblacion Plaridel Bulacan. During December before Simbang Gabi the Church is showing its beauty at night, lights are being laid on the walls of the church and you can see the beauty even at night... once you are here visit Barangay Poblacion for you to taste the Christmas food on the street. Enjoy the mouth watering Bibingka overload, Puto-Bumbong overload and Bitso-bitso... you can also dine in for the famous Goto ng Plaridel across the street.

Also known as Plaridel Church or Quingua Church, is a 15th-century Roman Catholic Church under the patronage of Saint James the Apostle. Just like other churches in Bulacan. One of another old and historically-significant church in the province. We were welcomed by its beautiful and unique facade. Like all other churches that were established during the Spanish era,

What I really like about visiting Roman Catholic churches is the nostalgic vibe of the place and the history embedded in it. I also have this habit where, if you're visiting a church for the first time, you knock on the door three times, then pray for something you really wish for. Haha. Attended a wedding here.

This historical place of worship is one of the oldest in the province of Bulacan. It is a good place to go on a pilgrimage or visita iglesia during the Holy Week. What I love about this church is its beautiful interior. Check out its altar, pulpit, and ceiling to see what I mean.
