PANATILIHING MALINIS ANG PUTING BUHANGIN Basura Mo, Bitbitin Mo, Iuwi Mo
Puting Buhangin is a public beach. One of the access roads is being claimed as a private road by a local politician.
If you are into pristine off-track back pack destinations, this is highly recommended. Most days the mile-long white beach is deserted except for rare fisherfolk or locals foraging. Visitors do come during weekends and bring their own provisions.
There are two access roads leading to the beach from KINAJI Farms intersection. The public road which is the shorter route is almost straight ahead and you hit the beach about 200 meters downhill. During the rainy season, park near the intersection.
The second route is being claimed as private road with road block and fences. From KINAJI Farms take a left and turn right on the next corner then follow the gravel road. The road block/fence is about 100 meters away. The beach is about 150 meters downhill from the roadblock.
