I climbed the summit and the mountain almost had me. I've done distant running so I thought that 4km would just be a breeze. I was wrong. The terrain is a steep uphill. The scorching heat of the sun also burned me up as we started climbing at 2pm. A couple of tips - bring water: enough to hydrate and cool you down during the climb but not too much and too heavy to wear you down. Build stamina and strength if it is youe first time to climb.

Pamitinan Cave is a Class 2 Cave and is close to the public due to its historical significance. It is believed to be one of the camps used by members of the Katipunan. The cave is accessible through a hanging bridge that was built in 2015. The bridge has a locked gate on both ends. The cave entrance is also gated and locked. With a permit, it is open for wildlife and academic research purposes.

Breath taking view at the top will make your hike worth! I've got bruises because of the rocks ( i forgot to bring gloves, btw) but it never stopped me from hiking Pamitinan. Only an hour away from Manila, this mountian is one of the most visited hiking spots in Rizal. The lovely view of Rodriguez will be seen on top. This mountain is recommended for beginners.

Rocky, and when I say rocky it is really is, better to use gloves if you are planning to get to the summit, the view on the top is absolutely breath taking. Tour guides are kind and approachable.

A good hike for someone not that experienced in hiking. There would be sharp rocks that you have to pass through to get to the summit, best to wear gloves if you want.
