I hired a tricycle going to the parking lot at Bon Bon Sandbar, although there's an option to ride in a tricycle at P15 fare from the Freedom Park to Bon Bon. My plan was to experience and to see the sunset here, so I preferred to hire a tricycle so that I can easily go back to the town even at night. As I walked along the shoreline of Bon Bon Beach, I was being frustrated of the trash that scattered into the beachfront and at the easement. It is a public beach but if it is clean, this place has so much potential to be famous. The water is crystal clear bluest color, off white sand (mixed crushed corals and shells) and the sandbar is reaching the adjacent islet during low tide. A nice sunset is also famous here that's why many spectators came in the late afternoon to watch it. A scenic place but need to be taken care of. Date of...
Read moreI grew up in Romblon and never get tired of coming back here to this spectacularly beautiful beach. 😍 It's prestine water, and white sanded beach is never crowded. The entrence fee is very affordable (10 pesos for locals and 50 for tourists)... its a long walk to go to the Sandbar, and if you walk barefoot you can feel the smooth sand under your feet. It's a clean beach but without many facilities. There are no restaurants so better to bring your own food and drinks. Just look after your own garbage and keep it clean. There are a few cabanas you can rent and relax in. There's a toilet and shower room that you can use but you need to pay small maintenance fee for it... 10 pesos for using toilet and 20 for shower. It's no wonder Bonbon beach is one of the best beaches in the whole world bacause of its beauty. Proud Romblomanon...
Read moreWe were very disappointed when we visited here. First we arrived at 3:45 pm and they didn't want to let us enter because it was too late, they were closing already. The next day we went back and got denied entry because my partner does not have his passport with him. ID and drivers license is not accepted here. My partner is Filipino and doesn't bring his passport anywhere in the Philippines. After discussing, we could finally enter. You pay an entrance fee and alongside the beach is trash everywhere. If you want to go to a nice beach, better go to Boracay where there is no entree fee and...
