A must-visit on Romblon island. Fine, light-colored sand (not quite white, not quite powdery, but soft & easily walked on). The cove has very low water level, so it's great for just lying in. You can keep walking out to the water for several meters, with the water reaching only waist level. Keep an eye out for sea urchins though. Not much to see for snorkeling, but a really great swimming or relaxing beach.
Recommended for groups with very young kids. The sand is great for playing in & the water is very calm.
Also recommended as a great way to cap off your tour of the island with a big sky sunset. Or well, why wait 'til the end of your trip?
Logistics: Access is from the main road, visit stairs down. There is an entrance fee. There are tables & cabanas for rent. Bring your own food. Some drinks are available...
Read moreA nice beach to spend part of your day, maybe the late afternoon. It is somehow arranged and maintained, but not with a really good care. One can do some snorkeling but really don’t expect much - just for fun and to see the couple of survived fish etc. Still nice place to go and relax. Entrance fee is applied - 50P at the time of our visit. Don’t spend more for kubos as they’d are not well situated and in a bad condition. One should better just go on the beach and put a towel under the trees - much better way to chill out...
