Paul Beach Resort — Attraction in Samal

NEVER AGAIN!

This is already the SECOND time we came to Paul Beach Resort Samal because we honestly thought maybe our first bad experience was just a one‑time thing. We gave them another chance since the view is undeniably beautiful. Unfortunately, this second visit just confirmed that the view is the ONLY good thing about this place.

Poor Management & Staff Attitude From the moment you ask a simple question, instead of being assisted properly, the staff will give you an attitude. They make you feel like you’re bothering them. The worst part is that the manager herself – who is apparently the sister of the owner – is the one setting this terrible example. She is arrogant, unprofessional, and does not know how to treat paying guests with even the slightest respect. Hospitality is supposed to be about service, but here, it’s like you’re begging them for basic courtesy.

Dirty Comfort Rooms and Facilities For a place that charges this much, their CRs and facilities are dirty, unhygienic, and clearly not maintained. It’s disgusting and totally unacceptable for a resort. You expect cleanliness and at least proper maintenance, but what you get is the complete opposite.

This is now our second time here, and sadly, nothing has changed. Same rude staff, same dirty facilities, and same overpriced rates. The only reason we gave it another shot was because the place has a beautiful view – but a nice view alone is not enough to make up for such bad management and poor customer service.

Ang ganda lang ng view pero pagdating sa serbisyo at respeto? ZERO.

To anyone planning to visit Paul Beach Resort: Think twice. Do not waste your time, money, and energy here unless you’re okay with being disrespected and disappointed.

If the owners really care about their business, they need to start with proper training, basic hospitality, cleanliness, and learning how to treat guests. Until then, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

pinaka worst and poorest resort ever. first fitting room wlang mga lock , ang cr tinipid sa kahoy dahil halos makita na ang pwet pag nag cr dba dyahe? plus every shower need mo mag bayad. mahina ang tubig may cut off pa! ang tubig sa cr tubig dagat at ang wash area/lababo iisa lng at kailangan mo pang pumila ng mahbang pila para makapag hugas kamay and very poor accomodation nla may baby ako nag ask ng assisstance kasi sa katabing cottage namin na sobrang ingay to the point na nagsisigawan na sila pero walang action imagine 2 am yun ha nagising ang anak ko almost 2hours after pa clang huminto at ang nakakainis dun tinignan lng ng guard .and lastly nag request kami na magpalipat ng cottage pero alam nyo ang sabi nkabook natatawa ako kasi before kami pumunta sa resort na to tumawag ako para sana mag pabook kaso di nla sinagot ang call at ang text nla d daw ala tumatanggap ng booking gets nyo yun? promise nkakahighblood so nag tanong ulit ako sa ibang employee nla na pwd kami ilipat ng cottage sbi nya kausapin daw namin ung unang head nla kaya kinausap namin ipinasa kami dun daw kami mag tanong sa pangalawa ata nlang head at amg sabi ulit mag inquire kmi sa guard lol ginawa kami baliw ng mga taong to ng makausap nmin yung guard ang sabi nya kausapin nmin yung unang head sa resort ngayon mapilit kami eh kya kinomfront nmin at tinanong alam nyo sabi nla hindi daw kasi nka book na pero last try namin at bumigay sla pro bayadan daw namin ulit ung cottage nakakaloka !!!!! nag overnight kami 5 kmi dumating sabi nla out kmi ng 9 sa umaga overnight yan . aii ewan pag tatapusin ko pato aabutin tayo ng bukas overall i really dont suggest this resort lalo na pag pamilya...

This Resort has the poorest customer service... Me amd my sisters went to visit this place at around 2pm on Sept. 14, but when we were inside the beach it was low tide and the water is vey far and beyond their limits... We decided to go out instead and asked for a refund but they didn't return our payment, we were inside for less than 4 mins. Grabe naman! I asked them even for at least half of what we paid?
