Stunning and epic. It's not a museum, but it's a ride. Not much of a waiting time for the last ride when we came at 6:45pm for the 7pm ride. There's a fantasy storyline prior to entry into the seats where you're either triangle, square, or circle in the seating arrangement. No large bags allowed, leave them inside at the front desk counter where you get a number. I don't think the e-lockers are still working since no one used them when we came.
What I didn't expect was to find a row of the Department of Science and Technology's (DOST) STARBOOKS computer kiosks in this building, an e-library with science content that can be explored freely. It wasn't turned on though, maybe it's because we came at the last show with no one to guide us around.
The story with Eldar was entertaining, and it's dark there too to maximize the lights. Eldar appears at 2 spots, at the front and by the entrance divided into triangle, square, and circle. We were wondering if there's action involved since the story had to do with finding 3 elements, but it's just a simple trip of sitting around, so no worries.
During the video show, the chairs move and are raised high from the floor, but it doesn't turn or anything. Supposed to feel like you're an Agila flying around, or maybe that you're like a drone camera. The video was nice and the aircon too, this is a relaxing ride for sightseeing with certain tourist spots/natural landmarks in the Philippines. It'll be more relatable if you've been to those places, mostly in the north.
Perfect to visit when you've already walked a lot. Enjoy the modern building and souvenirs too, I think they're promoting for Philippine eagle conservation, hence the Agila...
Read moreI love the interactive theater inside, kinda makes me weep a lot because not only the orchestral music, but also the feeling of flying around the corners of the selected tourist spots in the Philippines, the real hidden beauty away from chaotic Metro Manila and the feel of freedom of navigating the Philippines thru the theater.
Before the ride, everyone may undergo briefing with fictional character Eldar the Wizard, appeared in hologram form in the concept set up of Enchanted Forest.
Unfortunately, instead of giving the rate of 5, I choose to give the rate of 3 not because of the theater, but an hour of waiting outside. Yes, we waited a lot for 1 1/2 hour just to get to the show for only 15 minutes.
The toilet is clean, the interior is wide on its circumferential area. There is an orientation before the ride, and we get the briefing from fictional character Eldar the Wizard on the dark room.
Before entering, large bags must be placed on e-locker. You may be prompted to create your 6-digit password and choose a Locker Number.
The guests like us were divided into three groups, where each group will be seated on the lower, middle, and upper aisle respectively, represented by the squid game like shapes of circle, square,...
Read moreIf you've been to the Mall of America in Minneapolis, there is an attraction there called FlyOver America. This is very similar, but this time with a trip through some of the Philippines' popular attractions and even a couple I didn't know about. I would bet that it was built by the same company. The difference though, if I remember correctly, is that in FlyOver America, the edges of the screen are not very prominent. I wish they had done the same with Agila because it helps with the "like I'm really there" effect. Agila has a decent "pre-show" as you make your way through the facility before the actual show. There is a story being told from the beginning until the show. I wish they improve the sound system though, I could barely understand some of the dialogue. We went in near closing time so lines were short so I don't know how the experience would be with bigger crowds. I enjoy these type of attractions in general, so I enjoyed this...
