I actually did this review under Tinagong Dagat resort because that was the one to show up here. The 2 are the same thing but Latasan is the old buildings. Tinagong is the newer construction. The resort is slowly under renovation and expansion but it may be a year or 2 from completion. The pools aren't being kept up but the water of the inlet is clear. Its muddy at the bottom though, slimy, so don't play in it. You come here for the view and the peace, not to enjoy the hotel itself. Maybe in 2 years it will be different. I recommend coming here for a visit (20 peso entrance) but not to sleep. At Tinagong is ok, but...

There's a 30 pesos entrance fee per person and you have to sign up up front prior to going in to the resort. There's a lot of areas where you can see different views and angles but we mainly stayed at the area where the #WowLatasan sign is (which I think is the highest point for visitors).
