This place has an amazing collection of some of the most historical and influential cameras ever made — from the earliest models to more modern ones. Entrance fee is ₱130 per person, and the tour starts on the second floor.

The guide walks you through the evolution of cameras, explaining each one really well with some cool facts along the way. We came close to closing time, so the tour was a bit rushed and only focused on the most impactful cameras. Would’ve loved a slower, more detailed tour — but no complaints, since he still let us try one of the oldest cameras in the collection, which was super cool!

Step back in time at Galleria Taal Camera Museum where history meets photography. ️

Housed within the historic Ilagan-Barrion ancestral house, built in 1870, it offers a glimpse into Taal's rich heritage.

Originally owned by the Ilagan family, the house passed down through generations, with Candida Ilagan, the current owner's grandmother, becoming the sole proprietor. After her marriage to Atty. Antonio Barrion, the house acquired its present name.

In 2009, it transformed into the Philippines' first-ever camera museum, showcasing an impressive collection by Manny Inumerable.

At Galleria Taal, you get a twofold experience: Explore the beautifully preserved ancestral house, a testament to Taal's architectural heritage and marvel at the diverse collection of cameras, capturing the evolution of photography...

My husband and I went here last year in May 2024 for the first time and we absolutely loved it. Other than the awesome collection of Mr. Manny's historical film cameras themselves, Kuya Jonjon was a very iconic part of the whole gallery. He tells stories about the cameras and the shots very well and with great sense of humour too. He is very silly and humorous with his tour so you'll enjoy every second of it. Because we loved it, we decided to come back just the other day but this time, it's with my family.

We were also honoured to meet Mr. Manny himself to welcome us in his galleria. That made me very happy for sure. Will definitely come back again but with...
