We booked our stay at Casa Punzalan during our DIY tour in Taal. The overnight stay cost Php 2,000. They have 4 rooms upstairs and 3 rooms on th first floor - all have ACs.Shared bathrooms upstairs, separate male & female. They have shower heater and bidet. Caretaker is friendly and hospitable. Oh they only provide you with towels, so bring your other toiletries. The location is a 10/10. Situated at the heart of the town, few steps to the Basilica, the Plaza, Town hall, Public market, Schools, Police station, 711, cafe and restaurants, souvenir shops, the Barong Tagalog/ Filipiniana Terno shops, and the mainroad where you can ride jeepneys/buses. This hotel don't have food in their services, so you get your.meals from outside. At night, I suggest you take your dinner earlier than 8pm because we experienced looking around town past 8:30pm for any available restaurant, carinderia, or barbeque stand to no avail as establisments closes early - reminder that Taal is still a rural area. Oh no worries as 711 is always your last resort! The only negative thing I can say well for me it.was really creepy to be honest since we were the only 2 guests booked during that time. It was quiet inside the huge old colonial house with antique stuff. You can't help yourself from time to time to imagine paranormal things lol. Just ignore them if you have a third eye. But all in all our stay was perfect and serene! ❤️

This cultural heritage has been well preserved for travelers like us to experience staying at a century old house, it is so accessible and just a walking distance from taal plaza. We stayed a night here and we really appreciate the local people around the vicinity and even the caretaker showed us a very warm welcome. Rooms and beddings are very clean and comfortable. They offer 5 rooms in which 4 of it faces the taal plaza where you can see the taal basilica as you open the window. This house undergone a renovation in which bathrooms has a modern appearance but still other areas of the house are restored. All in all it was a thumbs up to the whole town of taal.

We stayed here for a day - all 40 of us. It's so spacious and well-maintained. The caretaker is nice. The lighting is bright or at least not creepy at night. It it right in front of the Basilica. A perfect billeting area if you're going to hold your ceremony there. We're thinking of renting the place again soon.

CASA PUNZALAN is located at the heart of the heritage town of Taal, a walking distance to the Basilica of St. Martin of Tours, well known as the largest church in Asia. In front of this house is the Taal Police Station and within a stone's throw to the Taal Town

The place is super nice and the room is very spacious with 4 beds and cabinet. The common CR is super clean. Ate Glency is super friendly and very...
