Jawili Beach — Attraction in Tangalan

A few walk away from the national highway (alternate route) you can reach the Jawili Beach. It's peaceful and good for meditation. If you go here during weekdays, it's just like you own the beach. Like when I got here to take some pictures to be uploaded in Google Map, I'm alone walking in this quiet and beautiful beachfront. Maybe the time matters because it was noontime then. But during weekend the Jawili Beach is frequently visited by locals for picnic and family bonding. There's a lot of beach resorts you can choose from cheap to upscale. A nice beach to visit if you are staying near Kalibo. Went on a day trip during our stay in Kalibo for the ati-atihan festival. Combined it with our trip to jawili falls. There wasn’t many people on the beach itself which provided some privacy and peace and quiet, but by mid day there were some families playing in the warm shallow waters. Great place to unwind for a bit though I did not see many food options so plan ahead if you’re visiting. There was some trash on the beach and in the water, which is a shame as the natural beauty of this land is unmatched. It just a beach, so quite when i there. No food stall or maybe crowd of peoples. Hmmm... nice place to take photos before back or from the Kalibo Airport. If you from the Jetty Port at Caticlan, use the taxi to go to the Kalibo Airport, and the driver will offer you to pass thru this place, if you want, but don't forget to give them extra tip...
