St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral — Attraction in Tuguegarao

This beautiful Catholic Cathedral of God was closed due to the death of the Parish Priest. The security guard did not inform.us when they charged us P20 for our vehicle to enter the Church grounds.

The carvings of the door on the left depicts the Old testament and the right is the new testament.

We prayed outside the Church especially for the departed soul of the Priest with other faithful who also came to a closed Church. It's like Catholics and People were barred to visit God or enter the His House.

When we told.the guard we came to pray and visit the Blessed Sacrament, they told us to enter through.the back door. Again it was closed.

Beautiful statues of Saints surround the area. Padre Pio, St Anthony, San Lorenzo Ruiz...

May God forgive the people who closed the Church and prevented all His Children from visiting and adoring Him. May they remember that the Church belongs to the Prople of God and not the bishops...
