The place indeed carries so much history of Zamboanga City and it is overwhelming to see how vast the difference and changes Zamboanga has undergone in just a century. Although the number of artifacts and exhibits is few, it carries enough history for you to fully immerse and appreciate Zamboanga's history. Sadly, the thermal condition of the place when we visited is not ideal for a Museo as it was extremely hot. The artifacts are displayed/stored in an uncontrolled temperature area, relying mostly on ambient temperature. There is also poor ventilation. I just hope that the integrity of the exhibits will remain in good condition for the future generation to appreciate despite the undesired condition of the Museo.

It's a museum focusing on the history of Zamboanga City and its inhabitants. Entrance is free. Redtroom is available inside. It's nearby the Butterfly Garden and Pasonanca Park.

A good place to know more about Zamboanga's history. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, but it lacks the facilities and artifacts. Garden is nice, though.
