This shop presents itself as a high end genuine Pearl outlet. It is a pity that my visit left a very bad taste. I went there with my daughter to purchase. The charm offensive is full on with charming smiling beautiful assistants at every turn. We were shown a number of working prototype rings and detachable pearls from which to choose. We were told that these pearls were less than perfect, and our chosen pearl would be perfect and mounted on the ring by master craftsmen, upon payment of a deposit. This was agreed and we returned a few days later to collect. The charm offensive was over and we were immediately ushered to the payments section by a burly security guard. We were handed a sealed package by the silent cashier. We could have assumed that within was the finished product, paid our money, and left as time was pressing. Fortunately, my daughter decided to have a look at her heart's desire. Imagine our consternation when we found the defective working prototype ring in the box, complete with detachable defective pearl. Our protests brought assistants and managers running from all directions, and after much bowing and scraping a ''perfect'' ring was produced. But the damage was done, and the question lingering is ''what is this place''? High end pearl outlet, or just one...
Read moreVisiting the Armorn Pearl Farm in Phuket was a fantastic and educational experience. Our guide Diego and his colleague were friendly and explained everything clearly, making the tour both engaging and informative. We learned about the life cycle of oysters and the intricate process of pearl formation. The guides also introduced us to different types of pearls, including Akoya, South Sea, and Mabe pearls, highlighting their unique qualities and differences.
It was amazing to see how science and artistry combine to create these beautiful gems. The farm’s serene environment added to the experience, showcasing the care and precision involved in pearl cultivation. Watching the process firsthand gave us a deep appreciation for the effort behind each pearl.
The tour ended with a chance to view and buy some exquisite pearls and souvenirs directly from the shop approx. 15 minutes from the farm. Here you can also view some of the beautiful crowns that were designed and crafted for several Miss World contestants.
We booked the visit to the farm via the website contact with WhatsApp. I highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in learning about pearls or seeking a unique...
Read moreGreat place, beautiful merchandise. Lovely sales personnel, taking care individually of the visitors/clients. BUT!!!! Unfortunately the sales personnel are either not well informed OR!! do not want to reveal information because it is only the daily sales that count. My friend spent loads of money at Phuket pearl over the years. This time around - among other things - she bought a necklace with a beautiful pearl strung on a piece of black leather. The sales clerk said the clasp on the necklace is silver. Well it wasn't. My friend has metal allergy. And after wearing the necklace for about 2 days the back of her neck started getting a very intense allergic reaction. If the clasp would have been silver then there wouldn't have been any allergic after effect. So please next time do not sell something as silver or gold if it is not. Because for many people it will have consequences. Please see picture. Thank goodness a kind lady at a drugstore was able to recommend a cream (Fucicort) that helped ease the...
