I desperately wanted to rate this museum five stars! Unfortunately, I cannot as this would be unfair towards other great museums.

I love the architecture, the concept and the finish is exquisite. I've wanted to visit the place for a couple of years now and finally the opportunity had presented itself. Upon entry we were met with three bored-looking ladies who directed us to the movie theatre where we begun the tour with a short film which was not too shabby (though I'm sure English subtitles would have been beneficial towards the experience).

The remaining exhibition is downstairs in the basement of the building is certainly something. What to say ...it appears that 90% of the museum budget was taken by the design of the building itself and the miniscule remaining budget was used for some standard timelines on the walls and exhibitions that could only entertain children. Musimy to trochę za dużo powiedziane, ale jak dla mnie bardzo ciekawe miejsce - nie nudziłem sie. Na plus gra która dostajemy wraz z biletem do rozwiązania podczas zwiedzania. Miejsce spodoba się raczej nieco większym dzieciom które umieją już czytać gdyż jest sporo do czytania. Niestety niektóre elementy ekspozycji były zepsute (chyba coś z tym jest w Żorach bo fontanna i nie tylko na rynku też nie działała - fajne pomysły, wykonanie średnie) inne urządzenia też do końca nie były przemyślane - model silnika tak zasuwa że trudno cokolwiek zaobserwować (w tej prędkości wydaje mi się że działa nieprawidłowo) kamera termowizyjna jest na tyle niedokładna że nie da się rozpoznać czy cieplejsze jest ucho czy język. Automat to sprawdzania poprawności odpowiedzi na biletach "działa" jak bizon w żniwa - ja nie miałem sił by kombinować jego odczytanie, tym bardziej że zaraz obok grała mi na nerwach szafa grająca na której nie można zatrzymać muzyki, a nerwy były już zszargane wcześniejszą muzyczka która grała przy ekspozycji baterii słonecznych i doprowadziła mnie do takiego stanu że dziękowałem Bogu że to już koniec zwiedzania - tak jestem trochę wrażliwy na powtarzające się w kółko melodyjki i muzyke puszczona zbyt głośno z kiepskiego glosnika. Miałem mały niedosyt samych eksponatów, przydała by się jakaś belka że spalonego kościoła (wiem może nie być to łatwe) albo jakieś inne spalone elementy:) Mimo wszystko polecam to miejsce - nie nudziłem się, a bilety nie były specjalnie drogie. Do tego sam budynek jest bardzo ciekawy...
