Czarnostawiańska Siklawa — Attraction in gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska

This place is very beautiful, no doubt about that.

We visited it in May 2021.

There was still snow on the way and at a certain point we could not proceed since we did not have snow equipment.

The road is not for everyone, it required some preparation, it is not a simply nice walk. So please be careful, I have seen people falling several times and I was extra cautious.

I am a city person so maybe someone can tell you differently but for me was kinda something to be extra vigilant about, doable but you need to be mindful.

Up to Morskie Oko it is easy walk. Next lake is located just 185 meters above. I can't imagine be there and omit Czarny Staw. It is slight challenge, but reward is immense. The scenery, nature and fresh air will give you unforgettable experience.

It is a good idea to take extra food and beverages up there to celebrate a bit longer the place. If you like more hardcore experience, from Czarny Staw you can go to Rysy and few other places, but for this you need more time, preparation, strong body and fearless soul. Fantastic views of both lakes near Rysy. The second lake is higher than Morakie Oko and that gives memorable views. Higher water level of second lake formals natural waterfall into the Morske Oko.
