On paper it looks very good, but the reality was a little underwhelming. Firstly the miniatures weren’t exactly miniatures, but scaled buildings. Mostly cast plastic or concrete. Most standing shoulder height. They were spread too far apart and it was a bit of a walk. We didn’t see all of it and thankfully left to eat.
Only the restaurant was open for food, but what a treat. Admittedly I only had the burger, but it was really tasty (recommend not having the sauce as it’s laced on). My son ate most of his breaded chicken with little effort from his mum so it must have been good. My fiancée and her parents seemed to enjoy theirs.
Onto the ice creams. Mr whippy only in a small size with a cone! No flake. Had to have as a sundae. Tasted good.
Soft play was tiny, but my 2 year old son really enjoyed it. 10zł for an hour 20zł for all day. Free if the person is on their lunch break like this time. We left the money on the tin though.
We walked up to the boats and zorbs, but these weren’t suitable for his age. Also a small area and crowded. I imagine lots of queuing on a peak day. They do use timers for turns. Better than the one in Gt Yarmouth that changed the zorbs to the side and made it impossible to move two steps without being tugged back and falling over.
Then onto the inflatables. There was a good selection and he really enjoyed himself. The Polish children were mostly careful around my son when they knew he was there. A couple of overly zealous boys breaking the rules and jumping on tunnels when he was trying to crawl through. The children are better behaved than in the UK and a credit to their parents.
The gift shop was truly full of absolute tat. Don’t send your kids here with any money for souvenirs. They’ll feel obligated to buy something and come back with a bookmark from the 80s that changes the scene when you twist it.
I can’t really comment on the prices as a similar thing in the UK would be 3...
Read moreMiniature. The place is nice, alley of Miniatures is really great, the objects are big and more or less realistic, the only problem here is the hill , and you have to go up and then down on the alley... which is problematic during winter time, be aware it is slippery a lot. I was there when there were no much snow, but still, nor salt or sand is saving situation. I suggest that in summer it might be very hot, as no treesare around, some small arbours on the way. Ski. The ski slope is reclined and not big, good for begginers, just that there is only bar lift (which adds difficulties for begginers). Anyway there were lots of kids and people in general. There is a ski school as far as I understood. Attractions. There is "park linowy", not tried it, cant say anything good or bad about it. There is also one rolleycoaster. 6D cinema...maybe some other interesting adventures, available in warmer time. Place. Free parking, restaurant and...
Read morePlace seems to be nice and reasonably priced but some attractions display deep insensitivity to British and American nations history and feelings. One of the attractions supposedly showing Big Ben is abomination to the UK. The attraction shows only the tower of Big Ben clock . It is not mentioned that the clock is part of British Parliament building and instead of using Union Jack flag the flag of England ( St. George's Cross) has been displayed.
Another example is "attraction " showing World Trade Centre before it was destroyed during 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks by Al-Qaeda. This does not take into account the fact that it is great tragedy for American nation where thousands of people died. There is no mention about it, but instead of that at the end of the plaque about the attraction there is information that more and more people have been recently putting into doubts the fact that those attacks were the work...
