This used to be my favourite amusement park in Europe in its hayday, but their customer service has become very poor in recent years which I experienced myself in different occasions for different reasons! The prices have also increased significantly in recent years - for example one scoop of ice cream is now sold at 10 PLN (2,50€/3 $). What I dont like despite all those fantastic rides they have is that they force you to pay for a locker if you want to ride Hyperion! Just like at parks such as Universal Florida, these ride lockers for rides with metal detectors should be free - at least for a specific period of time to ride the coaster.
They finally introduced a fast pass system called Energypass. However, it is way overpriced at 200 PLN (=50€/60$) because you can skip the lines only ONCE at 13 different attractions. My advice to park management would be to reduce this price by half to compete with other European parks. Alternatively, they should make it "unlimited" at this price - meaning that you can use it at 13 attractions all day long as often as you like. My suggestion is to lower the price of the existing fastpass and introduce an unlimited version at the current price.
If you are a handicapped or autistic person, don't expect to get any priviliges in the park like in basically most other European or even global theme parks. You will just have to wait in all the queues - no matter how long or noisy these lines are. For autistic people for example, it is a major inconvenience and an additional disadvantage for them not to have any alternatives being offered.
One important piece of advice to my fellow coaster enthusiasts and global travellers: All 2 or 3 day tickets are only valid on consecutive days after the first day of use. They will not make any exceptions and let you in with this ticket on any other day after this period of 2 or 3 days - even if in your language their website does not properly highlight or indicate this restriction - by using misleading translations for example (like in my case - I lost lots of money due to that). Only purchase this ticket type if you are absolutely planning on visiting the park on consecutive (!) days or you will be denied entrance and forced to buy a new ticket. Unfortunately, this also happened to me too despite having been an experienced theme park visitor for decades. Instead of any customer-friendly solution they basically told me to always read the fineprint in the terms and conditions first before making any purchases. As a global theme park traveller I must admit I have never experienced anything like this before. They basically made a fool of me and made me feel totally stupid by lecturing me in front of everyone. They are of the opinion that anybody who buys a ticket from them must always read all the fineprint in the terms of business first. In all my life as a roller coaster enthusiast travelling the world I have never experienced such poor customer service which basically makes the guest feel like a dumb fool and ruins the day although the guest who did pay a lot for his ticket, came a long way to the park just to have a fun day which was basically turned into a nightmare due to a lack of customer focus and misleading / inaccurate information on their (non Polish version) website. I used to have their annual pass for several years but even as a once loyal customer and regular guest I didnt feel like being treated properly at all - making me not want to return to the park again so soon or recommending it to my coaster community as I used to....
Read moreI need to give this park 4 stars because of multiple reaspns. First of all I wanna talk about the rides. I did not go on the Zadra (Big wooden one) or Hyperion (The black one at the entrance) so I will not be talking about those, but the rest of the rides were a lot of fun! I would say my favourite would be the formula coaster or the speed water coaster! The rides are excellent so there is nothing bad I can say about them. There are rides for everybody. Second thing I wanna talk about is bathrooms. Girls bathrooms were impecable they had toilet paper, clean stalls, clean floors just the water pressure was slightly low. Getting around the park was easy for me as I had some help from a friend to look at the map and guide me, but some parts are kinda twisted and confusing, but it depends how good you have orientation. Staff members were okay, even though I have read some reviews about them being rude or treating customers rudely. They seemed a little bit bored and not so interested but the staff that I communicated with was nice. The only issue would be at the Hyperiod ride where my friend went to put his phone in the little boxes there and he was declined saying it wasn't alowed so he had to get out of the queue and give his phone to me. For the rest of the rides you had boxes they allowed you to put your phone in and some staff even took your phone if you gave it to them to put it there. This was nice but if you had a bigger item such as a purse or a bag you were supposed to pay 13 PLN for a bracelet that could unlock a locker, but it felt like a scam since basically everywhere it's free or you could just leave your stuff where you left your phone since you'd pick it up after the ride ended. The queues were horrible. Wait time differed on the ride and time of day, without the energy pass it would be at least 30 minutes for each popular ride and for the less popular 10-15 minutes. With the energy pass the lines for the normal coasters would be 5 minutes max except for the big coasters which could take 10 minutes or a bit more. The energy passes are very expensive. 200 PLN to ride 13 of the rides without waiting in queue but only once, so yes you basically only had 13 free passes but only on specific rides and ONE for each which is mind boggling. Paying so much for only one free pass for each ride?! I would recommend they would make this infinite for those 13 rides or at least lower the price below half if that's all you get. Another problem with this it's the rides included. You got the 2 big coasters which aren't for everybody so already 2 wasted, 3 or 4 kid coasters so even more wasted and some that you might not like so you'd basically only use like half of it for fun and the rest just to kinda use them. The whole thing is so expensive. 9 nuggets 1 portion of fries and a cola 60 PLN. Ice cream is like 8 PLN per scoop, so if you have a bigger family you end up paying the same price as the ticket for food and such. Getting from the parking places to the park is an adventure. Either you have a little train to pick you up or you can walk around 15 minutes which is okay but after a long day of walking trough the park and being tired another 15 minutes could be tiring. Overall if you have this on your bucket list do it, but expect it to be pricey and you need a whole day without...
Read moreEnergylandia is a park with some truly amazing roller coasters — but the overall experience is held back by poor planning, lack of theming, and frustrating logistics.
🎢 The coasters are definitely the highlight. Zadra is one of the best roller coasters I’ve ever ridden — intense, smooth, and incredibly fun. Hyperion is another standout, especially in the back row on the left side — great airtime and speed. Abyssus is also a solid ride with some enjoyable moments.
🎨 Unfortunately, the theming is very underwhelming. Much of the park feels cheaply done. For example, the Grotto Expedition had no actual “grotto” or any immersive decoration — just a plain ride that felt unfinished.
🚶 Getting to the rides is frustrating. Access to major coasters like Hyperion is overly complicated. Even when there’s no line, you have to walk long paths, up four floors and back down — it took us at least 7 minutes every time.
⏱️ Wait times shown are inaccurate. The park often displays 0–20 minutes, but we ended up waiting double or more. If times were accurate, guests could decide if it’s worth the wait — instead, it just causes disappointment.
🔒 The locker system is inconvenient. You’re forced to use lockers for nearly every ride, even family ones. That means no phones, sunglasses, or personal items while waiting — often in direct sun for 30–40 minutes. And even if the train is empty, you can’t re-ride — you have to exit and walk the full path again, which can take over 15 minutes.
⚙️ Operations seem focused on saving money. Despite big crowds, rides often start with only one train. Trains are removed during lunch or when queues seem short — which quickly leads to longer lines again.
🍔 On the bright side, the food was tasty and affordable — much better than expected for a theme park.
👥 Crowds and behavior were a problem. Even in the off-season, the park was packed with school groups. Many behaved badly — cutting lines, pushing, shouting, and even being aggressive if you said something. Staff did little to manage it.
Overall, Energylandia has some of the best roller coasters in Europe — no doubt. But everything around them — the theming, layout, and guest management — needs serious improvement. With better organization, it could be a top-tier park. Right now, it feels like they’re cutting corners at the cost of...
