I am putting one star just because i cant leave a no star review. We came all the way from Greece as a scout team in order to explore and have fun. As we were exploring Krakow we decided to come to the museum because we are scouts. We had to get a tram and a bus in order to arrive while also paying for the tickets. At our arrival they started behaving unprofessionally and they told us that we couldnt get inside because the museum was closed.(I would like to add that the closing time was at 6 o clock and we arrived at 5) They told us that we cant get inside as a group and we demanded to get in individually. They did not feel any empathy at all and let us “face the consequences” since there was a tiny inscription outside that said “last entry is one hour before closing”. In google there was nothing that stated that you have to show up one hour before the closing. To put things into perspective for you, we were already half an hour inside arguing with them instead of having a very quick tour of the museum ALONE we didnt even ask for a guide. It usually is expected that at a scout museum they would have integrated the scout manners in their work, on the contrary they laughed at our faces making comments in their language towards us. The employees started leaving at 5:45, FIFTEEN whole minutes before the museum closing. It has to be mentioned that irony and sarcasm were predominant in the conversation with the employees, and a constant try from their part to try to make us feel wrong. Furthermore after being questioned by us to disclose their manager’s name they said they didnt know it (complete lies). Generally for a “scout” museum, it doesnt comply to the scout spirit and if a museum is taking advantage of such a big movement as scouting in order to make profit and get money then it is definitely not worth going. The presence of the staff is unbearable while the communication is difficult at...
Read moreIf I could put no star I would! I'm a scout and came with our team all the way from Greece to visit the museum as long as it is related with scouts and an experience that we should have gotten...But! They didn't let as get in You wana know why? We where there 17:10 on Saturday and on the internet they say that they close at 18:00 But as they said we must have been there one hour before the closing time and there was no information about that on the internet and their site The staff was very rude, unacceptable behaviour and I must also mention that the staff left at 17:50 knowing that the museum closes at 18:00 We complained to them and tried to keep make them let us in but they wouldn't argue for it, although we told them that we weren't informed about the closing time and we would be out by the time it closes (18:00) By the time we were comlaining the staff was laughing on us in their language I think that this behaviour is unethical as long as we are scouts and this is a scout museum I could say that they don't care the scout spirit I'm really upset and I think that they must be fired because we paid money to go their just for them to not let us in for 10 minutes delay which was also not...
Read moreI am writing this review to express my feelings for my recent visit at this museum. I visited Poland as a scout along with 11 more. I have to mention that we came all the way from Greece. As we were exploring Krakow we heard about this museum and we decided to go since the closing time was at 6:00 and we were there at five. As we arrived they told us that they had already closed, even though the time wasn't 6:00. We tried to argue but they didn't listen and laughed at us while making comments in their language which we did not understand. Considering that this is a scout museum, one would think that they would have empathy and behave with manners that relate with scout behaviour. All in all the museum isn't worth to be seen and definitely does not embrace the...
